Příbram

June 2021

I came to the city from nature (Brdy), so I started looking at it from its ass

First thing you need to know: Pribram - not he, Pribram - she.

Easiest to remember as Pribram' - more logical that way.

And stress on "i"

But I don't give a fuck, PribrAm is ugly

After 5 minutes walking at least something appears

Turned out "Vojtech" translates as "Adalbert"

City is really faceless, only at home I realized it more or less resembles Kladno

Many churches in this part of the city

Street sign. Looking at the map, I realized the city is big. And on the sign you can see I'm walking through part of the city Pribram-6

Turned out the city is divided into 2 large parts by the railroad, I was walking through the "quiet" one

Seemed like it should be beautiful ahead

Before the station it's really ass

The station itself. By the way, Pribram is located very unsuccessfully in terms of transport - by train it takes about an hour and a half to get here, and by bus - an hour. Buses don't attract rich people from Prague

Now the real Pribram begins

For a minute there was hope, but turned out this place - is the only nice one I encountered

Overall, Pribram looks like this

I'll note that on the way I met several gypsies - usually this isn't the best sign for a Czech city (but I'll give them credit - almost all were working or just walking and were quiet)

Like home

Old center is relatively small - one street, essentially

Surprising how huge Pribram is compared to other cities of Central Bohemia

And how there's jack shit here compared to them

Bus I rode from Prague was old, back - new. Attention to the seats - decorated in the style of Prague transport system

Pribram seemed completely sad to me, in my opinion - one of the worst cities of Central Bohemia on par with Kladno, and also unclear what can be done about it :(
